i hate noise. yesterday, i decided to appreciate it. ricoh grd2, iso 1600, noise redicution off (as far as possible), 8 seconds exposure. dirty. i kind of like it. it´s like destroying and at the same time re-creating a beautiful reality. maybe this is what i´m up to.

• Embrace the noise, make it your friend ;).
  The shot works very well due to the noise. Sometimes a clean shot does not have enough impact and is boring but the noise will make it look surreal and give it depth.

• I will have to learn this "embracing of noise", so I can make more use of the GRD2´s ISO1600 setting. Anyway, I already like the look in B&W, know I am experimenting with color...

• Once you know what you can get out of a ISO 1600 file and don't expect dSLR quality it will allow you to focus on how to use it to your advantage.
