back from france
I’m back from the Vosges, it was really nice there. We spent some nice, sunny autumn days in a great house surrounded by forest, and we walked for hours without seeing another human being. It was very recreative, but now I’ve have even more work piling up here on my desk. Nevermind, it was worth it.
The week before my holiday I sold my car, yes, my little green mini cooper is gone for good… Now I’ve got to find a new one, I really need a car for my trips to the countryside where I’m from and where I still spent half of my time.
That’s all news I can think of at the moment, but I can’t think really hard anymore, I have to catch some sleep to be ready for more work tomorrow!
been to London (yes, again), heading for the Vosges
Last weekend I’ve been to London once more, to see England win over Estonia. They played rather poor and I am not surprised that they lost to Russia last night. If they won’t take part in EURO 2008, I’ll either have to find another team to support (like Sweden … handsome guys, they are! :) or to ignore the whole thing. Anyway, on Sunday I’ll travel on to France to spend one week in the Vosges, a nice mountain range, together with a friend and her dog. Should be fun, let’s hope the weather will be good. As I have tons of work to do, I’m quite anxious to get it done right now, looks like a long night ahead. But I’m sure it’s worth it. After all, it’s my own fault being on the road all the time, so, a little nightshift won’t kill me straight away.

1.) Schaust du regelmäßig TV Serien?
Ja, aber meistens auf DVD. Im TV zur Zeit Boston Legal und House, wenn ich es nicht vergesse.
2.) Was macht für dich eine gute Fernsehserie aus?
Wenn ich einen oder mehrere Darsteller bzw. Rollen in der Serie mag, ist für mich auch schnell die ganze Serie gut. Wie zum Beispiel NCIS, da ich Mark Harmon sehr mag. Ich mag auch neue Ideen und neue Herangehensweisen.
3.) Gibt es eine Serie, für die du alles stehen und liegen lässt?
Denke schon, das wäre dann jede beliebige Star Trek Serie, außer vielleicht Voyager.
4.) Und welche geht überhaupt nicht?
Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten. Vielleicht würde sie gehen, wenn sie nicht in rosa und babyblau gehalten wäre und so aussehen würde, als wäre sie im Sesamstraße Studio gedreht.
5.) Kaufst du Serienstaffeln auf DVD oder Video?
Ja, manchmal. Letztens habe ich Staffel 1, 2 und 3 von “Little Britain” gekauft. Und ich möchte Boston Legal irgendwann haben.

Clearly the best sport I’ve seen in years… I love seeing these guys running around the pitch, only to collide with each other with all power they have, then getting onto their feet and trying again… What a power! It’s so fast and so exciting, especially when you favour a team like I did on Saturday, when England won over Australia, despite being the underdog in this match. See them next week when the face France (who won over New Zealand – another big surprise in the current world cup) on Saturday, 21:00 CET.
